The Town of Jupiter is one of the few remaining locations in the state of Florida to have dog-friendly beaches. The town adopted the policy in 1989 and since then, the area has grown to over 2.5 mile stretch along the beach. 

The Jupiter Dog Beach stretches from beach marker #25 at Marcinski road, going north to beach marker #59 at the south end of Carlin Cark. In this designated area, dogs are allowed to roam freely and must be supervised. 

The Town of Jupiter has set in place a number of rules that should be followed when bringing your dog to the beach. Being able to bring your dog to the beach is considered a privilege that only a few towns in Florida allow. Free waste bags have been provided by the Friends of Jupiter at every cross station along the designated stretch of the dog beach. To view the rules set in place by the Town of Jupiter, click here. 

The Dog Beach is open from sunrise to sunset. Parking is free along A1A or public parking lots at Marcinski Road or Carlin Park.
