An Amazing Combination of Taste and Texture - Bend's New Best Burger?

Today our culinary adventures took us off the beaten path to an area where food trucks are not the norm. Residing next to a live edge furniture store is Bend's newest food truck, and we think it is now one of the best. The Wagyu Wagon features the amazing quality Wagyu beef from 2Sisters Ranch which focuses on caring and sustainable ranching to produce the best quality beef possible. We can honestly say, this care that has gone into the ranching was absolutely reflected on the taste of our Wagyu Burger.

The first thing we noticed when approaching this truck was its simple, limited menu. This allowed us to really narrow down what we wanted quickly and also showed us the care and thought that went into each piece. For our first burger experience, we had to try the Gourmet Umami Burger with mushroom fried fries and a small side of Wagyu Beef Chili. These choices were absolutely out of this world!

From presentation to first bite, we were hooked. This burger looked amazing on the plate and we were able to eat on fun, branded, 2Sisters tables. This great parking lot experience was casual and welcoming and we appreciated the care and effort that went into the setup. The fries were the first to try and the mushroom powder on the fries paired with their specialty aioli was a packed flavor experience in itself. When we finally dug into the burger, we experienced a symphony of flavors that could only be combined in such perfect harmony by people who truly understood food and flavor. After today, we are very much considering changing the title of "our favorite burger" to the Wagyu Wagon. In addition, our side of Wagyu chili was hearty, flavorful, and a wonderful balance of savory and spice.

All in all, our experience at Bend's newest food truck was out of this world. We found the burger, fries, and chili was enough to share for two at lunch, but we would each likely get our own at dinner! This food truck is a bit pricier than the other trucks around, but the quality and farm to table cuisine we experienced makes it 100% worth it. Looking forward to trying another burger in the near future!
