Just down the boardwalk, the beach welcomes everyone with calm waters for swimming, an on-duty lifeguard, and sea turtles. There's a beach volleyball court on the grass area that fronts S Kihei Rd, making it a great spot for some fun before sunset.

With wonderful sunsets, convenient food and drinks right across the road, and the option to rent chairs and umbrellas from nearby shops, Kam I is an ideal spot to end your day.

Charley Young Beach, located at the north end of Kamaole Beach Park I in downtown Kihei, is an intimate and serene escape. The dramatic rocky outcrops make it perfect for stunning sunset photos.

Access the beach through the north part of Kamaole I, with street parking available along South Kihei Road. Enjoy spectacular swimming and snorkeling in the reef area and top off your day with a peaceful evening sunset.

For a picturesque and tranquil sunset, Charley Young Beach is one of the prettiest spots on the island. Plus, shopping and dining options are just across the street.

 

Cove Park

Located at Kihei's northern end, where Maui takes a sharp turn toward Maalaea Harbor, Sugar Beach provides convenient parking off Kihei Road. Please note there are no facilities or lifeguards.
