Access FS launches referral scheme Mortgage Strategy

Mortgage and protection brokerage Access Financial Services has launched a referral scheme to allow its 260 self-employed advisers to share leads.

The new Access All Areas initiative encourages brokers to pass on cases that fall out of their areas of expertise to more specialist colleagues within the group.

In exchange for passing on the lead, the introducing adviser takes a 40% share of the commission earned.

The launch follows a pilot in February and a series of webinars to educate advisers on different product areas that they might not normally handle.

During the pilot phase, 50 leads were passed on covering wills, protection, later life lending, second charges, bridging finance, commercial and international mortgages.

Access FS mortgage sales and marketing director Nick Jones says: “We had great engagement with protection and mortgage brokers, who embraced the opportunity to collaborate and expand their horizons.

“Now it’s being rolled out more widely following the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the trial.

“Our advisers demonstrated a willingness to learn about new products and to share leads.

“Access All Areas not only strengthens our team but also ensures our clients receive the most comprehensive and tailored financial solutions possible.”
