The Palm Beach Zoo and Conversation Society is a non-profit zoo and is one of the top-rated zoological organizations in the state of Florida. The popular Palm Beach Zoo is located in Dreher Park in West Palm Beach. The Zoo is home to hundreds of animals and species, many of them are endangered. In total more than 550 animals and more than 190 species roam freely throughout the 23 acres of lush tropical habitat. Animals include monkey’s, alligators, birds, tigers, elephants, jaguars, bears, sloths, and much more. The Palm Beach Zoo is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm and is only closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. General Admission tickets are required to visit the zoo and cost $18.95 dollars for children, $22.95 for those 60 years old and older, $24.95 for adults and children under 2 years old are free. The Palm Beach Zoo and Conversation Society is located at 1301 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach.
