The Newbury hires Nationwide's Scott

Scott joins from Nationwide where he held senior marketing roles for more than a decade, the most recent of which focused on leading member engagement and communications teams.

In his role at Newbury, Scott will have oversight for both the direct and intermediary sales units, as well as the marketing team.  

He says: “I’m really looking forward to working with my new teams across both sales and marketing. I believe together we can really make a difference to a society that I already feel proud to be part of.”

Newbury Building Society chief executive Phillippa Cardno says: “Dean brings a wealth of experience in both product and customer focussed marketing, with a particular focus in member engagement, which will assist us in delivering our strategic objectives to improve our branch, customer and digital offerings. I have no doubt he will be a great asset to Newbury.”
