Bluestone Mortgages has appointed Steve Bailey as the South East of England’s field-based business development manager, a newly created role as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to grow its position in the specialist lending market.

In this new role, Bailey’s primary responsibility will be developing new regional business leads and opportunities.

At a time when more customers are frequently being turned away from high street lenders, he will also work to educate brokers and intermediaries by supporting them with straightforward complex lending solutions available for clients who have been disenfranchised from achieving their homeownership goals.

Bailey joins Bluestone from Landbay where he was head of internal sales and brings over 20 years of financial and specialist lending experience. Prior to this, he held roles at OneFamily and Lighthouse Financial Advice.
