
Clydesdale Bank has increased the maximum LTV available on residential new-build houses from 85% to 90% LTV.
For new-build flats the maximum LTV remains at 80%.
Landlords buying new-build houses can borrow up to 80% LTV or 70% if they are buying flats.
The lender has a dedicated case management desk to deal with new build applicants and offers are valid for 180 days.
It will consider housebuilder incentives on a case-by-case basis.
Clydesdale is the latest lender to improve its criteria for new builds.
Metro Bank and Accord also recently increased their maximum LTV for new build houses from 85% to 90%.
