Tuscan Capital has hired Katie Wilsher-Garratt as a regional sales director covering the Home Counties. 

The bridging specialist says she will be responsible for developing new and existing broker relationships across the region, as well as helping firms identify short-term finance opportunities. 

Wilsher-Garratt reports to sales director Jaxon Stevens and joins the firm’s wider sales team, which covers regional offices in Manchester and Birmingham, in addition to its London head office. 

The industry veteran joins from Central and Mercantile Trust, where she was most recently head of intermediary sales. 

She has previously held posts at Money Partners, GE Money, Link Lending/Link Loans, Shawbrook Bank and Focused Lending in a career spanning over 20 years. 

Tuscan’s Stevens says: “When I joined Tuscan last year we wanted to restructure the sales team, broaden its geographical remit, and bring on board quality people to help drive our focus on broker education and the resources and support we can offer them.
