MAKANA: Songs of Maui Nui

Description: Celebrate the islands of Maui, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, and Kahoʻolawe with Makana and special guest Miss Aloha Hula 1980 Kaʻula Kamahele. The event will feature songs and stories, both personal and historical, of each island. Performed in Makana's signature style of kī hōʻalu (Hawaiian slack key guitar), the evening promises a musical and visual tapestry honoring Maui Nui and its legacy composers. The MACC will be a collecting donations for the Maui Food Bank at this event for distribution to those impacted by the wildfires. Patrons who bring a Maui Food Bank Donation will be given access to an exclusive post show meet & greet with MAKANA.
Taste Our Love for Maui: Special Edition of the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival
