Platform has withdrawn two of its 90 per cent mortgage deals on a temporary basis.

These comprise the five-year fix with zero product fee at 3.89 per cent and the five-year fix with £1,499 fee at 3.49 per cent.

A spokeswoman for Platform says: “We took the decision to temporarily withdraw some of our products from the market following an unprecedented demand for new mortgages.

“We are prioritising existing applications to ensure we’re able to maintain our service levels for customers. We will be aiming to reintroduce some of the products as soon as possible.”
