Criteria search engine Knowledge Bank says seven new lenders have joined its Notify service, which helps brokers and lenders find each other and place cases faster, since the start of the year.

NatWest, Stafford Railway Building Society, Buckinghamshire Building Society, Newbury Building Society, Earl Shilton Building Society, Leek Building Society and Gatehouse Bank have joined since January.

This takes the number of lenders on the service to 33.

The search firm says the quickest case to be agreed so far this year was by NatWest who reviewed an application and invited the broker to submit a decision in principle in under nine minutes.

Its Notify service was launched last September and has seen over £100m of new business referred to lenders from brokers.

Stafford Railway Building Society business development manager Emma Parker says: “Notify is simple and easy to use, and we highly recommend users of knowledge bank to get on board with this feature.

“We have already received cases to consider that users were finding difficult to place, so it’s a win for the client, broker and us.”

Knowledge Bank sales director Shane Chawatama adds: “With the latest lenders to join Notify, we know this will make it even faster for our 4,000-plus broker community to place their cases with confidence.

“Based on the most popular searches and criteria gradings, brokers are able to see which lenders are most likely to accept their case and then present it to the lender to iron out any quirks or questions to secure a home for it.”

Knowledge Bank’s Notify is available to brokers who are subscribed to the business, or are currently on a free 30-day trial, at no extra cost.
