Santander has made rate increases and decreases to its fixed rate product range, while TSB has introduced BTL products and lowered prices on its BTL, product transfer and additional borrowing ranges.

The majority of the lender’s new business residential home mover 75% to 95% loan-to-value (LTV) two-year fixed rates will be cut by up to 0.15% while selected 90% to 95% LTV five-year fixed rates will be lowered by up to 0.07%.

For new business buy-to-let (BTL) purchases, all 60% to 75% LTV two-year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.10%.

First-time buyer 75% to 95% LTV two-year fixed rates will go down by as much as 0.08% while 75% LTV three-year fixed rates with a £999 fee will be lowered by 0.05%.

Meanwhile, Santander has increased rates on selected first-time buyer 60% to 90% LTV five-year fixes by up to 0.09%.

Residential home mover selected 60% LTV five-year fixed rates have gone up by 0.06% and residential remortgage 60% to 90% LTV five-year fixes will increase by as much as 0.08%.

The lender has also made reductions to its residential existing home mover 95% LTV two-year tracker with no fee has been cut by 0.08%.

Within the product transfer range, BTL 60% LTV two-year fixed rates have been lowered by 0.05% while residential selected 60% to 90% LTV two-, five- and seven-year fixed rates have risen by up to 0.08%.

Elsewhere, TSB has introduced two- and five-year fixed house purchase 75% to 80% LTV products.

In the same range, two-year fixed house purchase 0% to 75% LTV have been reduced by as much as 0.15% while two-year fixed remortgage 0% to 75% LTV with no fee have been cut by 0.10%.

Two- and five-year fixed remortgage 75% to 80% LTV rates have gone down by up to 0.20%.

In TSB’s product transfer range, BTL rates have been cut on two- and five-year fixed 75% LTV to 80% LTV by as much as 0.20%.

For additional borrowing, the lender has cut rates on BTL two-year fixed 0% to 75% LTV by 0.10%.
