Spring Finance has promoted Paul Carley to head of sales for second charge mortgages.

The specialist lender, founded in 2011, says he “will focus on building intermediary relationships and driving growth and distribution”.  

Broker Carley has worked for the business for almost 13 years, and was previously in its business development arm.  

Previously, he worked for Helpline Finance and began his career in the mortgage division of Lloyds Banking Group in 1980, spending four years at the lender.  

Spring Finance director of mortgages Shelley Stern adds: “Paul has played a key role in the recent product and service improvements, and we are looking forward to delivering further enhancements to our customers and intermediary partners.”  

Carley adds: “Having helped grow Spring since its inception, coupled with over 35 years of experience as a broker, affords me a unique perspective to really understand our customer’s wants and needs.
