Most people find it difficult to enter the field of real estate and build a rewarding career that is sustainable for the long-term. After all, close to 90% of all people who obtain their real estate license are out of the business within 5 years. But it doesn't need to be that way. Over time our team has developed our own simple formula for building a career that is both financially and personally rewarding. Here are the "four R's" that help all of us on the team enjoy a successful career in real estate.

Our "4 R's" for a rewarding career in real estate

#1: Nurture positive relationships by generously serving others.

By serving others we mean being a person who consistently ads value to the people in our lives  -- our clients, friends, professional peers, and people we know through service and community organizations. As we prospect for new business, we are always doing so with a servant mindset. 

#2: Establish a strong reputation based on professionalism and skill.

At Mad City Dream Homes, we're constantly honing our craft and working to serve each client to the highest level. We're enhancing our reputation in the realtor community and the community at large one sale and one relationship at a time.  

#3: Earn referrals built on trust.

Because we're constantly working to enhance our relationships and our reputation, we've created a business that is built on referrals with clients who are excited to work with us. Roughly 75% of our business comes directly from the relationships and reputation that we cultivate each day.   

#4: Earn glowing reviews from grateful clients.

We've been told by many clients who have chosen to work with us that we have the best reviews on the web. There is no sales tool more powerful than a public testimonial from a truly grateful client. With each new review we receive, our clients are enhancing our reputation and helping us grow our referral-based business. 

Consistency is the key
