United Trust Bank has announced that it will now offer bridging products in Scotland.

Prior to this development, the bank’s bridging offerings were only available in England and Wales.

United Trust Bank business development manager Paul Mansell says: “I have been working with several brokers in Scotland and it is clear there is a growing demand for bridging finance. I am delighted that I will now be able to offer the bank’s products and service to brokers with requirements in Scotland.

United Trust Bank head of sales Mike Walters comments “We are continually enhancing and improving United Trust Bank’s property finance offering and I am excited that we can now provide bridging for Scottish properties. We see huge potential to develop the bridging market in Scotland as we have done across many other parts of Great Britain over the last few years.”

The Lending Channel managing director Alistair Ewing adds: “We have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with United Trust Bank for a number of years and we were delighted when they decided to launch their short-term finance proposition in Scotland.”
