The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries’ Protection Viewpoint report is back for its third year and the trade body is inviting mortgage and protection advisers to complete a survey that will feed into its findings.

The association says the online survey, which is being conducted by Opinium Research, takes less than five minutes to complete, but adds that “advisers’ knowledge is essential to give a deeper understanding of how protection is viewed and sold”.

It says that broker responses “will help Ami shape its strategic plans on protection over the next 12 months”.

The body, alongside sponsors L&G and Royal London, will share key findings from the adviser and consumer research during a launch event on 3 November.

Ami senior policy adviser Stacy Penn says: “Over the last two years Ami Protection Viewpoint has provided invaluable insight to mortgage intermediary firms and the wider protection industry.

“The adviser survey is an important part of our research and we would be grateful if all mortgage and protection advisers working within mortgage advice firms, whether Ami members or not, could complete this year’s survey to give us the best possible set of representative results.
