Broker network Mortgage Intelligence has hired Graham Wood as its head of products and partnerships.

The Bournemouth-based firm says Wood comes with “extensive industry experience”, after having worked for Countrywide for 26 years where he managed and built successful lender relationships to boost product choice for advisers.

Mortgage Intelligence, owned by property services company Connells Group, runs three appointed representative networks and Next Intelligence DA mortgage club with 4,500 members specialising in mortgages, protection and general insurance.

Mortgage Intelligence managing director Sally Laker says: “We are really looking forward to working with Graham as part of our team.

“He brings a wealth of knowledge, and a professional approach to the role, both product-wise and working closely with all of our business partnerships.”

Last week, Guardian joined Mortgage Intelligence’s protection panel, giving the protection provider access to over 450 advisers in this network.
