Renters Rights Bill moves to Whole House stage Mortgage Strategy

The Renters’ Rights Bill continues to progress through Parliament as Baroness Taylor of Stevenage announced that the bill be committed to a Committee of the Whole House, which will now scrutinise it.

The Renters’ Rights Bill  first introduced within the first 100 days of the new Labour government, includes wide-ranging legislation including banning Section 21 no-fault evictions, limiting rent increases to once a year and applying the Decent Homes Standard to the private rented sector for the first time.
