HSBC cuts rates by up to 0.20% | Mortgage Strategy

HSBC has detailed the rates cuts it is making at 60 per cent LTV that were first announced earlier this week.

The biggest reduction is the two-year fix with no fee, which has been cut by the headline 20 basis points, from 1.64 per cent to 1.44 per cent.

The two-year fix with £999 fee, meanwhile, has received a cut that takes its rate from 1.24 per cent to 1.14 per cent.

The two-year tracker with £999 fee has also received a 10 basis point reduction – from 1.34 per cent to 1.24 per cent.

As well as this, a selection of five-year fixes have benefited from 0.15 per cent cuts.

These comprise the zero fee product, taking its rate from 1.74 per cent to 1.59 per cent, the £999 fee fix, where the rate has gone from 1.49 per cent to 1.34 per cent, and the Premier Exclusive, which commands a £1,499 fee. The interest rate here has been reduced from 1.46 per cent to 1.31 per cent.
