Clydesdale Bank increases mortgage rates | Mortgage Strategy

Clydesdale Bank has put up a selection of its buy-to-let and residential mortgage rates.

The changes will take effect from 6pm on Tuesday 11 August.

They include the BTL 75 per cent LTV two-year fix increasing from 2.49 per cent to 2.59 per cent and the BTL 75 per cent five-year fix from 2.59 per cent to 2.69 per cent.

The most significant residential changes to occur will be all be at 85 per cent LTV and consist of the five-year fix, where the rate will move from 2.43 per cent to 2.70 per cent, five-year fixed rate professional, with an increase from 2.36 per cent to 2.60 per cent, and the five-year fixed rate newly qualified professional product, with a change from 2.56 per cent to 2.80 per cent.

Other products in this category will receive rate increases ranging from 5 basis points to 23 basis points.

As well as this, the lender is boosting rates by up to 0.19 per cent within its existing customer only range.
