The Mortgage Works is increasing rates on a wide range of buy-to-let deals tomorrow by up to 35 basis points.

The changes apply to its products for new customers.

For purchase and remortgage, the following rates are rising:

• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with 2 per cent fee – increased from 1.99 per cent to 2.09 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £1,995 fee – increased from 1.94 per cent to 2.14 per cent

For purchase and remortgage with free valuation and £250 cashback the following rates are increasing:

• Two-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £995 fee – increased from 1.99 per cent to 2.19 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with 2 per cent fee – increased from 2.04 per cent to 2.19 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £1,995 fee – increased from 2.04 per cent to 2.19 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £995 fee – increased from 2.19 per cent to 2.39 per cent

For remortgage only with free valuation and legals the following rates are rising:

• Two-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £995 fee – increased from 1.99 per cent to 2.19 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with 2 per cent fee – increased from 2.04 per cent to 2.19 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £1,995 fee – increased from 2.04 per cent to 2.19 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £995 fee – increased from 2.19 per cent to 2.39 per cent

For let to buy remortgage only with free valuation and £250 cashback: 

• Two-year fixed rate, 65 per cent LTV with £995 fee – increased from 1.94 per cent to 2.09 per cent
• Two-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £1,995 fee – increased from 1.94 per cent to 2.09 per cent
• Two-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £995 fee – increased from 2.04 per cent to 2.39 per cent
• Five-year fixed rate, 75 per cent LTV with £995 fee – increased from 2.34 per cent to 2.59 per cent
