Alternative Bridging Corporation has appointed Jon Durie to be its new business development manager (BDM).

Durie has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector, and joins from Glenhawk, where has was also a BDM. Prior to this he worked as a property development manager for Aldermore Bank.

Durie will cover Scotland and the North East and will report to Jonathan Rubins, director at Alternative Bridging Corporation.

The company, which has recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, said it was expanding its field sales operation to match its lending ambitions.  It offers bridging, commercial and develop financial and alternative overdraft products.

Rubins says: “Durie has a huge amount of experience and expertise in financial services and will be helping brokers in Scotland and the North East of England find solutions for their clients seeking short-term finance.”
