Dublin-based mortgage platform LendWell is targeting a UK launch of its broker applications service.  

Its AI-native software — which caters for home loan and protection products — scans, categorises, and analyses critical documents, cutting down 10 hours of application processing to minutes. 

The firm adds its platform’s machine learning algorithms, can evaluate creditworthiness, identify risk factors and flag potential non-compliance issues. 

However, the business founded in 2023 by founders Jamie Lawless and Cathal O’Brien, is already eyeing expansion in the UK. 

LendWell chief executive Lawless says: “We’ve gained significant traction in Ireland and now see a huge opportunity in the UK to benefit mortgage brokers and their clients. 

“By streamlining the mortgage process through our AI-driven solutions, we’ve seen brokers increase their productivity by as much as three times, making it far easier to scale their businesses efficiently and sustainably.” 

The company offered no further indications about a UK launch timetable. 

The business also offers lead generation, customer relationship management and workflow software, which it charges on a usage basis.
