The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their popular Jupiter Climb and Paddle event this week. The event starts with a climb to the top of Jupiter’s iconic red Lighthouse and get your chance to see the incredible views of Jupiter and the waterways. The Lighthouse tower is 105 steps to the top and those who attend the event must be able to climb the tower’s steps. Following the tour of the Lighthouse, the friends at the Jupiter Outdoor Center will guide the guests on paddleboards or kayaks through the waters of the Jupiter Inlet and nearby waterways for a tour and history from the water. During past events, those who attend often have seen manatees, sea turtles, birds and other marinelife along the journey. The Jupiter Climb and Paddle event is weather permitting, so be sure to check their website for details the day of the event. Personal kayaks and paddle boards are not permitted, and you must use the ones provided to you by the Jupiter Outdoor Center. Children are welcomed to attend and must be at least 6 years of age and be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $45 dollars for adults and $25 dollars for children.
