Canada Life appoints Crook as group protection MD Mortgage Strategy

Canada Life has appointed Dan Crook as managing director of group protection after serving in the role as interim since February.

Crook has worked at Canada Life for 23 years, after joining in 2001 as a customer service representative. He has held various roles including business development and sales positions.

In his new role, Crook will report to UK chief executive Lindsey Rix-Broom.

Commenting on Crook’s appointment, Rix-Broom says: “Dan has played a central role in the strategic growth of Canada Life UK’s protection business.”

Crook adds: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of Managing Director of Group Protection, and look forward to executing the next phase of our strategy.”
