Two Events At The Lighthouse This Week

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum reopened to visitors last weekend and visitors were allowed to climb to the top of the lighthouse tower.

In addition to the Lighthouse being open for tours, visitors can visit the historic grounds and visit the lighthouse giftshop. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is reopening in phases with limited hours and days. Currently, the hours of operation are Thursday through Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm with the last grounds admission being at 3 pm.

This week, Jupiter’s iconic lighthouse is bringing back two of their popular events.

Lighthouse Sunset Tour: Wednesday, June 3rd

Climb to the top of the lighthouse tour and watch the spectacular sunset over Jupiter and watch the lighthouse light turn on to illuminate the sky. Visitors will also get a up close look at the lighthouse watch room and see how everything works. The tours last approximately 60 minutes and due to COVID-19, only 10 people are allowed and must wear a facial mask or covering. Tickets are required online prior to the event, click here. The tour begins at 7:30 pm, tours are weather permitting.

Lighthouse Moonrise Tour: Friday, June 5th

Come and enjoy the excellent views of the full moon from the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse. The tours last approximately 75 minutes long and are weather permitting. Due to COVID-19, only 10 people are allowed and must wear a facial mask or covering. Tickets are required and can be purchased online, click here to purchase. The tour begins at 7:30 pm.

Additional safety measures will be put in place including frequent cleaning, sanitizing stations, staff are required to wear masks and hand sanitizer. Visitors must wear a mask when climbing the lighthouse tower or visiting the museum’s gift shop.
