CHL, ModaMortgages, Newcastle and Gen H make rate changes

CHL Mortgages, ModaMortgages, Newcastle for Intermediaries and Gen H have announced rate and product changes.

CHL Mortgages and ModaMortgages, part of Chetwood, will withdraw their limited edition products as of 5pm today (3 September).

Both lender’s core product ranges will remain unchanged.

Elsewhere, Newcastle for Intermediaries has lowered rates on selected residential products and introduced new base rate tracker deals.

Selected residential products will be cut by as much as 0.25% and there will be lower rates across the range, including selected 95% LTV and fee-assisted products.

Meanwhile, Gen H announced yesterday afternoon that all rates will increase by 20 basis points today (3 September) at 5:30pm.

Lenders were also active in making rate changes yesterday. Pepper Money reduced rates across its residential and buy-to-let ranges, while Leeds Building Society reduced selected residential fixed rates and extended selected three-year residential end dates to November.

April Mortgages and Keystone Property Finance announced rate increases and Rely added a suite of 75% LTV limited edition products for landlords with 11 properties or more.
