The Howden Group is expanding further into the mortgage market with the acquisition of Dublin-based financial services company Finance Solutions.

Finance Solutions specialises in mortgage broking, as well as providing tailored financial solutions such as life cover, income protection, investments and pensions.

Aston Lark Ireland, which will rebrand to Howden Ireland in coming weeks, has agreed terms to acquire Finance Solutions subject to regulatory approval.

Finance Solutions will sit within the Howden Ireland structure.

Finance Solutions will work alongside Howden Group’s sister company SPF Private Clients, which it acquired last year.
