Pegasus Insight has become an associate member of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association.
The research consultancy — which includes housing, the private rental sector and retail baking among its areas of focus — applies qualitative, quantitative, behavioural science and data-based analysis to its reports for clients.
The firm was founded last May by managing director Mark Long, who worked for almost two decades at consumer and business insight consultancy BVA BDRC.
Imla executive director Kate Davies says: “We have worked closely with Mark since he and his former team created Imla’s Mortgage Market Tracker in 2015.
“We look forward to working with Pegasus as they bring their perspective to our discussions on the key business issues facing intermediary-based mortgage lenders.”
Pegasus Insight founder and managing director Mark Long adds: “I’m delighted that Pegasus Insight has been accepted as an associate member of Imla. The group does a really excellent job of representing and promoting lender views.
“As an insights business, I’m excited to build our market knowledge through membership, which in turn we can deploy in the work we do for a wide range of lenders right across the industry.”
