Simply Conveyancing has hired well-known industry figure Alan Young as chief commercial officer.

Young departed L&C Mortgages in March this year, having joined in September 2022.

Prior to joining L&C Mortgages, Young was the founder and managing director of conveyancing and survey panel management business, Optimus, for four years. 

During his career he also spent two years as chief commercial officer at John Charcol  and worked for ULS Technology for seven years, leaving as business development director. 

Confirming the Simply Conveyancing appointment in a LinkedIn post today, Young said: “Having had an amazing four months with my family, I’m delighted to announce my new role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Simply Conveyancing!”
