NatWest increases rates by up to 35bps on new business products | Mortgage Strategy

NatWest is set to increase rates on its new business product range on 21 September. 

The rate hikes range from 20 to 35 basis points and take place across its residential range.

The biggest rate increases are across the two- and five-year fixed rate purchases where all products have gone up by 35bps.

The 90% loan-to-value (LTV) two-year fixed rate purchase with a £995 product fee has increased from 4.22% to 4.57%.

The 90% LTV five-year fixed rate purchase with a £995 product fee has gone up from 4.20% to 4.55%. 

Meanwhile, the lender’s two- and five-year fixed rate remortgage products have also increased by 20 basis points. 

The 90% LTV two-year fixed rate remortgage with no product fee has increased from 4.64% to 4.94%.

The 90% LTV five-year fixed rate remortgage with no product fee has risen from 4.44% to 4.64%.

Applications online for existing deals can be submitted up to 10:30pm on 20 September.
