The Mortgage Lender (TML) has made two new appointments to its London team.

Sarah McCawley has been promoted to key account manager for central London while Jo Gee has been hired as a dedicated underwriter.

McCawley has worked in financial services for more than 20 years, including as a key account manager for Foundation Home Loans and a relationship manager for Aldermore. She first joined TML as a BDM in 2020 and in her new role, will focus on providing an enhanced service to key accounts in the London area, covering a range of lending including buy-to-let, new build, self-employed, complex income, and impaired credit.

Gee joins TML with a thirty-year background in both business development and underwriting.

Having first started her career as a mortgage adviser with Britannia, Gee’s most recent roles include senior underwriter for London key accounts with Foundation Home Loans and as an underwriting manager at The Mortgage Works. She then joined TML as a senior regional underwriter.

The Mortgage Lender head of distribution Sara Palmer says: “Both Sarah and Jo’s vast experience in the sector make them valuable assets to the team. We look forward to working with them and drawing on their expertise as we look to further establish our presence in London and enhance our relationships with our key accounts in the region.”
