Taste of Upcountry

After five years away due to the pandemic and Maui wildfires, the Montessori School of Maui proudly announces the return of their tuition assistance fundraiser, Taste of Upcountry. This celebration of the bounty of Upcountry Maui takes place on the central lawn of the school’s Makawao campus under a glowing tent, creating a magical atmosphere for an evening of fine food and community spirit. Featuring 10 culinary stations with offerings from top local chefs and purveyors, the event showcases the vibrant agricultural and culinary heritage of the region. In addition to gourmet food, guests will enjoy musical performances by Gretchen Rhodes and participate in silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the event support the school’s Tuition Assistance Initiatives, making a Montessori education more accessible to Maui’s keiki. The event is 21 and over, however, there will be no sale of alcohol - please "BYBB" (Bring Your Best Bottle) with you. General Admission starts at $100 and VIP Tables available for $3,000.

 

9th Annual Sophie Swim
