Gen H and LMS have expanded their existing partnership as part of the lender’s move into Scotland.

Earlier this week, Gen H announced it had launched into the Scottish market and products will initially be available exclusively through Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) brokers.

The latest collaboration between LMS and Gen H strengthens their existing partnership, which first formed in July 2023 when Gen H joined Panel Link.

To support Gen H’s expansion into Scotland, LMS created a panel of fully vetted law firms, which met quality, security, and compliance criteria, ensuring cases are handled safely as well as efficiently.

Gen H will continue to utilise other solutions provided by LMS via Panel Link, such as Secure Link and Charge Registration.

LMS chief relationship officer Suzanne O’Connor says: “As always, it’s great to collaborate with a lender to bring accessible conveyancing solutions to a wider portion of the market, making processes easier for everyone involved.”

“It’s particularly rewarding to do so with a lender with whom we already have a well-established partnership, as it further demonstrates our shared values.”

Gen H senior legal counsel Amna Baker adds: “Expanding a lending proposition to a new geography brings several legal and regulatory challenges, so we knew from the beginning that we’d want to work with LMS as we brought Gen H to Scotland.”

“This partnership and LMS’s technology help ensure a smooth conveyancing process which ultimately benefits those who matter most: our borrowers.”
