Black & White has hired Adam Tyler as director of intermediaries to lead the specialist lender’s new business development.

Industry veteran Tyler joins the business after founding the specialist property finance industry trade body Financial Intermediary & Brokers Association as its executive chairman over the past six-and-a-half years, which included setting up the industry qualification, the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Finance.

He has over 30 years of industry experience, including as managing director of FinancemyBusinessonline, also for six-and-a-half years, and eleven-and-a-half years as chief executive of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers, leaving in 2016.

Black & White Commercial Director Damien Druce says: “Adam’s experience will be invaluable in developing our proposition and taking it to the intermediary market, as we continue to expand our offering.”

The lender plans to announce two other appointments this month.

Tyler adds: “My background was in the specialist property lending space and having been a broker before this and also during recent times, I am looking forward to using my experience and contacts to help the business expand further.”
