Halifax Intermediaries is hiking rates on a number of 80 and 85 per cent loan-to-value products by up to 20 basis points.

Brokers wishing to access current rates must complete their applications by 8pm this evening.

The lender emailed brokers to notify them of the changes, which also include reductions of 10 basis points on certain 60 and 75 per cent LTV deals.

The rate changes are across its home mover and first-time buyer range, including two, three and five year fixes.
