Paragon Bank has restructured its buy-to-let sales department to boost relationships with brokers as well as key networks and clubs.

The lender’s mortgages commercial director Louisa Sedgwick takes responsibility for its sales and product teams.

Also, two new national account managers have joined the sales unit to bolster relationships with networks and clubs.

Jane Simpson, previously managing director of TBMC, and Sally Wright, formally head of intermediary distribution at Hampshire Trust Bank, join Paragon as national account managers.

Jason Wilde remains in his current role as national sales manager, supported by the existing regional sales team.

The moves come as the bank announces that the department’s sales director Moray Hulme, will retire at the end of the year after 36 years at the business.

Sedgwick says: “Paragon has an excellent reputation amongst the broker community and we want to expand our network to become a lender of choice across the market.

“Ensuring we have a sales function that can forge new relationships and is fully aligned to today’s modern distribution network is a key element of that journey and I’m excited that we are putting in place a structure to build on the excellent work undertaken over recent years.”

Paragon Bank managing director of mortgages Richard Rowntree adds: “The changes we are implementing today will optimise our sales and operations functions and position the bank for the future.”
