Crystal Specialist Finance has boosted its sales team with two new appointments.  

Ben Humphreys joins the lender as corporate relationship director for the North and will focus on increasing funding in the firm’s corporate channel, which targets the professional introducer sector.   

Humphreys joins from Bathgate Business Finance and has worked in financial services for nearly 20 years.  

Simon Nicholson joins the company’s telephone account management team, and will provide support to the firm’s broker distribution which it says serves around 70% of the intermediary marketplace. Nicholson has previously worked in  lender and SME roles.  

Both hires work in the sales channel led by group sales director Jason Berry.  

Berry says: “We continue to see excellent growth in the Specialist Lending sector and as more opportunities are presented, we must serve increasing demand by ensuring we have talented and experienced individuals on board.
