Atom has returned to 95 per cent LTV lending with a choice of two and five-year fixed rate deals.

The app-based lender is offering a two-year fixed rate at 4.09 per cent and a five-year fixed at  4.14 per cent.

Both products have no fee, come with £500 cashback and a free standard valuation.

The deals are available for both purchases and remortgage.

It comes after Moneyfacts reported that the number of deals for borrowers with a 5 per cent deposit increased from 5 to 34 between March and April.

Director of intermediary lending David Castling says: “Over the past year we’ve remained focused on doing the right thing for our existing customers whilst evaluating the right thing to do for new customers from the perspective of a responsible lender.

“With greater certainty, we believe now is the right time to bring 95 per cent LTV mortgages back on sale and support more people to own their home.”
