MT Finance has named Chris Patrick as a board member and its first non-executive director.
Patrick is no stranger to the lender, having played “critical role” in negotiating its management buyout in March.
He will be charged with aiding MT Finance’s growth, with a principal role in taking charge of its ESG initiatives, funding strategy and technology investments.
He last worked at private equity firm AnaCap as a partner for over 10 years and, for two years as a board member at Aldermore Bank.
Patrick can also count senior positions at Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, Nomura, and Goldman Sachs among his career history.
Alongside this, Patrick is a member of motor insurance underwriters Kitsune.
MT Finance director Joshua Elash says: “Chris brings energy and experience to the board and is strongly placed to assist us in our goal of becoming the leading provider of specialist property finance in the UK.”
