Vida has launched a two-year limited edition buy-to-let product at up to 75% LTV at an initial rate of 5.19%.  

The specialist lender says the loan, on Vida Tier 48, is open to first-time landlords and limited companies.  

The product applies to loan sizes between £50,000 and £1m, with a 3% product fee. It is available for individual units.  

The firm says the loan falls within its service pledge, which allows brokers to request a refund of the £180 application admin fee “if they feel they have received anything but excellent service”.  

In December, the lender launched its adviser help desk, called V-Hub, which connects brokers to decision-makers who can deliver an end-to-end case management and support service.  

It says, calls to the desk are answered on average within 10 seconds, while emails are responded to in four hours.  

Vida chief executive Anth Mooney said at the time: “We know that intermediaries need exceptional levels of service to support their clients, so we have established the V-Hub to give brokers quick and direct access to dedicated underwriters, who will help them with every type of query, from pre-application case shaping and policy enquiries, through to complex case management and completions.”
