YBS Commercial Mortgages has recruited Rosie Morrow as an associate director, who joins the unit’s North team.  

Morrow is an internal move from Accord Mortgages, the broker-only lending arm of Yorkshire Building Society. 

YBS Commercial Mortgages is also part of the mutual and handles portfolio landlord deals, houses in multiple occupation, semi-commercial and commercial loans as part of its range. 

The unit says Morrow’s role will be “to guide clients through the commercial mortgage application process to the point of offer,” adding that she will inform customers “what stage the application is at, and what needs to happen next”. 

She has worked in a variety of underwriting roles over the last eight years, which has given her experience in the residential and buy-to-let sectors.  

YBS Commercial Mortgages regional director for the North Mark Heckels says: “We’re committed to strengthening our customer-facing teams to ensure we provide the best possible support to the commercial market, and all our brokers and customers.” 

Morrow adds that her role will be to work “with both brokers and customers to accomplish their borrowing goals.”
