West One Loans has promoted Pauline Rylands to national sales manager for residential mortgages and second charge.

Rylands joined West One as a key account manager in 2019 after spending more than 20 years working for Yorkshire Building Society.

In her new role, she will take on responsibility for managing the company’s field sales business development and its broker support team.

She will report directly to West One Loans managing director of residential mortgages Marie Grundy.

West One has also appointed Janet Frame as business development manager for the North West and Yorkshire.

Frame has more than 40 years of experience in financial services and has worked for lenders including Masthaven, Kensington, GE Money and Prestige Finance, covering broking and lending across residential mortgages, buy-to-let and second charge.

Her most recent role was as a business development manager for The Nottingham for Intermediaries, where she was responsible for managing brokers and packagers across the north of England.

Grundy comments: “It gives me great pleasure to announce Pauline’s promotion and to welcome Janet to the team.”

“Pauline has played an integral part in the growth of second charge lending at West One and more recently in the launch of our specialist residential mortgages.”

“As demand for our range of products continues to grow, we’re always looking at opportunities to expand our sales team and to recruit talented individuals such as Janet.”

“She brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience, and I look forward to working with her.”
