
TSB has extended its automated identification and verification process for all mortgage applications for a further three months.
The lender is also doing away with the need for a close-up selfie of the applicant.
Now, brokers must ask their clients for a scan or photo of an acceptable proof of ID and proof of address along with a photo of the client holding said ID and proof of address while facing the camera.
TSB says in a note to brokers that it will be reviewing this process in a further three months’ time.
