Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB)  has appointed Anthony Gorman to be its business development manager for bridging in the North of England.

This appointment comes as HTB looks to grow its presence in the region.

Gorman joins from Mint Property Finance, where he spent three and a half years as a BDM, managing a large network of intermediary partners. He previously held a similar role at Together where he was responsible for building relationships with advisers.

In his new role, Gorman will manage key broker accounts across the region, and look to build relationships with brokers new to HTB. Gorman  has extensive experience in this specialist sector, particularly in the bridging and refurbishment space.

Hampshire Trust Bank sales director of Bridging Finance Lorenzo Satchell says: “We’re looking to deliver local lending to the North and with this appointment we’re showcasing our commitment to the region.”

HTB’s business development manager Gorman says that the bridging market remains buoyant.  “My expertise in structuring cases and ensuring their success will help to push HTB to the forefront of this market.”
