OneDome has acquired Mortgage Intelligence from Connells Group.

The deal, which also includes Mortgage Next and Life and Easy, means OneDome is now on course to arrange more than £10bn in mortgages per year via more than 550 advisers, the group says.

OneDome already owns a number of brokerages, including Coreco, CMME, and Trussle (Better.co.uk), as well as the property website Nethouseprices.com.

Mortgage Intelligence and its sister firms were founded in 1996.

The takeover follows the recent launch of OneDome Growth Partners, a mortgage and protection network designed to help brokers scale and adapt to rapid changes in technology within the industry.

Members receive qualified leads, access to OneDome’s DealRoom platform and exclusive rights to offer the HomeBuyer Service, a fixed-price package combining mortgage advice, conveyancing and case administration.

OneDome founder and chief executive Babek Ismayil says: “This acquisition is strategically important for us.

“We recently announced a £7.5m TV campaign to promote our HomeBuyer Service nationwide.

“We will need hundreds of brokers to service the demand generated by this campaign, and this acquisition gives us the scale and foundation for that growth.

“We initially planned to reach 500 brokers by the end of 2026, but with this acquisition we have revised our target to more than 750 brokers.”

Connells Group chief lender services officer Adrian Scott says: “We are delighted to have completed this transaction with the OneDome team.

“The three appointed representative networks are well-established businesses with experienced teams and strong broker relationships, and we wish them continued success as they move forward under new ownership.”

Founded by former J.P. Morgan executive Babek Ismayil and chaired by Sir Nigel Knowles, OneDome says its mission is “to make buying a home as simple as shopping online”.

The OneDome platform enables homebuyers and sellers to complete their entire transaction digitally, from property search to mortgage and legal completion.

Its HomeBuyer Service bundles mortgage advice, conveyancing, and insurance into a single fixed price package for £999.
