The Mortgage Lender (TML) has hired two new business development managers (BDM).

Nicola Ashby will focus on the Midlands and Keith Campsie on Home Counties South.

Ashby comes from Coventry Building Society, where she worked for almost eight years in various roles, including that of BDM, while Campsie most recently served at Pepper Money as regional development manager after working at TSB for seven years.

Ashby comments: “I look forward to learning more about the specialist lending market; an area which is set to grow in the coming years.”

And Campsie says: “Many more people have complex or specialist lending needs, particularly with the rising cost of living and following the pandemic… I’m keen to support brokers and intermediaries with clients who may not have as much choice readily available from mainstream lenders.”

Late last month, TML hired a key account manager and an underwriter to its London operation.
