Why we publish separate home and condo market reports

If you've spent any amount of time on our blog, you may have noticed that we track the Dane County home and condo markets separately. Although both markets share some common themes, they do differ in a few key ways: 

  • Home prices are typically much higher than condo prices 
  • Supply levels (months of inventory) tend to run a little higher in the condo market
  • Each market tends to appeal to a different kind of buyer 

Sure, it's a little more work to publish two separate reports, but our monthly routine keeps us sharp and always ready to serve you with solid market insight.
