Head to Lake Worth this weekend for the 26th Annual Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival. The festival is the largest of its kind in the country and draws a huge crowd to Lake Worth every year. The street painting turns the roads into hand drawn artwork and chalk designs. The artwork only last until the next raindrop when it will be washed away. The popular festival features temporary artwork masterpieces. Local and National artists create classic or 3-D masterpieces for viewers to come by and see. The drawings are done by using environmentally friendly chalk on both the streets and sidewalks. More than 600 artists are expected to be present this year. In addition to the street art, there will believe entertainment, festival food court, children’s creative area, shopping, bistros and much more. Admission is free for the artists and visitors.
